Before you buy a realistic dildo, check the details that determine what will arrive: the exact variant, usable dimensions, material, base, controls and included accessories. This checklist helps you read a product page and resolve missing information before placing an order.
Start with the realistic dildo collection. For side-by-side product examples, use our guide to comparing realistic dildos.

1. Confirm the measurements, not just the product name
Write down overall length, insertable length and maximum diameter separately. If the listing gives only one length, ask what it measures. Do not assume a size labeled beginner, medium or advanced will fit your preferences. If you're not sure which numbers suit you, start with what size dildo should I get, then compare sizes across our full range of dildos.
For example, the 10 Inch Realistic Dildo in Flesh lists 12 inches overall, 10 inches insertable and a 2.35-inch diameter. Its name supplies only one part of that comparison.
2. Check the material and the exact variant
The same example lists TPR. A realistic appearance or skin-tone color does not establish silicone construction. Read the selected variant's specification rather than borrowing material claims from a similar-looking model.
Record any unanswered material questions before purchasing. “Medical-grade” or other certification claims need supporting information for that product; do not infer them from a generic category description.

For a suction base, check the product's surface requirements. For a harness, compare the product's stated compatibility and base dimensions with the harness requirements. A broad base alone is not a guarantee of accessory compatibility.
If you want powered features, check which ones are actually listed. Vibration, automatic movement and heating are separate capabilities. Confirm the power source, charging method, controls and included accessories.
4. Read care instructions before ordering
Find the instructions for cleaning, drying, storage and compatible lubricant. Powered components can have restrictions that do not apply to a non-powered model. Avoid carrying over boiling, dishwasher or submersion advice from another product.
If you cannot find a necessary instruction or measurement, resolve it before purchase. A missing specification is not a reason to assume the product has the feature you want.
5. Check the purchase details
Review the selected variant, current availability, total price, delivery estimate and applicable return conditions. Read the store's current policies directly; a general buying article cannot confirm the delivery date or return eligibility of a particular order.
There is no universal price threshold that proves quality or fit. Compare the documented specifications with your requirements, then choose from the current realistic-dildo range. If firmness terminology is unclear, our real-feel construction guide explains the differences between softness, flexibility and texture.
