About Realistic Dildos
Shop 290+ realistic dildos sculpted to look and feel like the real thing: a defined head, veins, a natural curve and, on many models, balls that double as a stable base. Choose soft-skin dual density dildos, hands-free suction cup dildos, vibrating and squirting models, or go big with huge dildos. New to this? Start with our beginner dildos. Every order ships in a plain box, with free US shipping from $85.
How to Choose Realistic Dildos
Realistic dildos are all about lifelike detail: a sculpted head, veins, a natural curve and, on many models, balls that double as a stable base. Here is how to find the one that feels right.
Size
- Length: 5–7 inches suits most people. Remember the listed length often includes the balls and base, so the insertable length is shorter.
- Width: around 1.25–1.75 inches is comfortable for most; 1.75 inches and up feels noticeably full. If you are new, start slimmer and work up.
Material and feel
For the most lifelike feel, look for dual density dildos, which pair a firm core with a softer, skin-like outer layer. Single-density silicone is firmer and very easy to clean. Silicone is non-porous; TPE and other skin-soft blends feel squishy but are porous, so clean them carefully and use a condom if sharing.
Base: suction cup or harness
A suction cup base turns your realistic dildo into a hands-free toy on a smooth wall, floor or shower tile. A flat, flared base fits most O-ring strap-on harnesses. Many models do both.
Extras
Some realistic dildos vibrate, and some even squirt; see our squirting dildos if that sounds like your kind of finish.

Realistic dildo checklist
- Insertable length: subtract the base and balls from the listed length to see what you will actually use.
- Head shape: a pronounced head and ridge add stimulation on the way in and out, and are especially nice for G-spot play.
- Curve: a gentle upward curve makes it easier to target the G-spot or P-spot; a straight shaft gives more even fullness.
- Firmness: softer toys are more forgiving for bigger sizes, while firmer ones give more precise pressure.
- Skin tone and color: many realistic dildos come in several shades, so choose whichever looks most appealing to you.
If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the slimmer one. A realistic dildo that is comfortable to use regularly will always beat one that stays in the drawer.
How to Use a Realistic Dildo
- Warm up first and use plenty of water-based lube.
- Try different positions: riding a suction-mounted dildo gives you full control of depth and pace.
- For anal play, only use a model with a flared or suction base, and go slowly.
- Wash or change condoms between anal and vaginal use.
Care, Cleaning and Lube
Wash before and after each use with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, then air-dry fully. Store realistic dildos separately; soft materials can pick up lint and react with other toys.
- Water-based lube: safe with all realistic dildos.
- Silicone lube: don't use it on silicone toys.
- Oil-based lube: can break down soft materials and degrades latex condoms.
